BABAC ONION SEEDS

This long day onion variety is the most common type planted in our country and has a white flesh, Brown skin and round bulb.

It has a strong and firm skin and high dry matter rate, and is convenient for a long storage life, transportation and exports.

It is a highly productive plant with a yield potential of 9-10 tons depending on growing and climate conditions.

Depending on the regions recommended planting is months are February and March and harvesting months are August and September.

The recommended amount of seeds to be sown is 5-7 kilograms per hectare depending on the soil and regions.

It’s strong cervix and root system it has a high tolerance against many fungal diseases and has a 6-8 months shelf life under proper storage conditions.
